DLGNZ Empowerment Grant Application

To be eligible for the Grant, applicants must:

- Identify as a woman or non-binary person.

- Be a resident of New Zealand.

- Be medically and physically able to dive

- Be willing to share their journey through photos, videos, and a written blog if selected.

 

The Grant is not available for:

- Commercial businesses or for-profit projects.

- Expenses unrelated to diving

- Applications must be submitted via the official Dive Like a Girl NZ website 

- All applications must be received by the deadline specified on the website. Late applications will not be considered.

- Applicants may be required to provide supporting documentation, such as proof of course enrollment, ID, etc.

- The recipient will be chosen by a panel of Dive Like a Girl NZ representatives based on eligibility, alignment with values, and potential impact.

- The selection process is final, and no appeals or disputes will be considered.

- Successful applicants will be notified via email and social media; and must confirm acceptance within 7 days. Failure to do so may result in the Grant being offered to another applicant.

- The Grant must be used exclusively for the purpose outlined in the application.

- The recipient may be required to provide receipts or proof of expenditure.

- Funds cannot be transferred to another person or organization.

Grant recipients must:

- Use the Grant within the agreed timeframe (as specified in the acceptance email).

- Share their experience through a blog, photos, videos, or other media for Dive Like a Girl NZ's website and social channels.

- Acknowledge Dive Like a Girl NZ's support in any public posts or media coverage.

- Personal information provided in the application will be used solely for the purpose of assessing eligibility and administering the Grant.

- Dive Like a Girl NZ may share the recipients name and photos/videos, and on its website and social media channels.

- Dive Like a Girl NZ is not responsible for any risks, injuries, or liabilities associated with the recipients activities.

- The Grant does not cover insurance, and recipients are encouraged to obtain appropriate coverage for their activities.

- Dive Like a Girl NZ reserves the right to modify or cancel the Grant at any time without notice.
